Enterprise Wireless LAN Access Points
The need for enterprise-class wireless is extending beyond the large enterprise to enterprises of all sizes regardless of their IT resources. Deployment of a secure and reliable wireless network has been the exclusive domain of large enterprises with sophisticated IT expertise – until now.Aerohive’s 802.11n and 802.11ac Access Points are organized into groups that share control information between them, and enable functions including:
- Secure and fast L2/L3 roaming
- Coordinated RF management
- Security
- QoS
- Mesh networking
This sharing capability enables a next-generation wireless LAN architecture that is easy to deploy and expand, as well as reliable, scalable, high-performing, and optimal for voice over WLAN – all without a controller.

802.11n Access Points The standard bearer for feature and functionality
AP110
The AP110 access points provide state-of-the-art high-performance 802.11n along with cloud-enabled management, on-demand provisioning, and application visibility and control.
The AP110 is ideal for deployments where a single radio (802.11a/b/g/n) solution is sufficient, such as small retail environments, telecommuters and micro branch offices. Single radio APs can also be effective in low-bandwidth-demand environments where the benefits of a second radio are small because there are few clients vying for airtime. The AP110 can operate in either band—2.4 GHz or 5GHz—providing the opportunity to use the less congested 5GHz band if the clients are all 5GHz capable. The AP110 is the best value option for small wireless footprint requirements.
